| Notes: | This message is to alert you that that the CENIC network engineering team has scheduled REGULAR MAINTENANCE: START 0001 PDT, TUE 04/08 END 0500 PDT, TUE 04/08 START 0001 PDT, WED 04/09 END 0500 PDT, WED 04/09 Backup: START 0001 PDT, THU 04/10 END 0500 PDT, THU 04/10 SCOPE Migration of Backbone and Customer connections to new routers in San Diego. IMPACT Backbone and Customer connections to the San Diego DC routers will experience rolling outages during the maintenance window. Customer links and backbone redundancy for the San Diego hubsite will experience loss of connectivity on a rolling basis. Impacted San Diego DC connections are: UCSD/SDSC San Diego State University CSU San Marcos University of San Diego Palomar CC San Diego CCD Southwestern CC Crossmont CC Cuyamaca CC Mira Costa CC Los Nettos HMC USCHS San Diego COE Imperial COE COMMENTS The San Diego DC backbone router connections will be migrated to the new Aggregation routers as part of the DC Refresh project. External connections associated with the San Diego DC routers will be impacted on a rolling basis as individual connections are moved. DC Backbone redundancy will be impacted as links are moved individually. San Diego backbone routers will not lose connectivity to the DC Backbone at any time. Please note we will use the backup maintenance window only if the work is not completed on the 8th and 9th.
