| Notes: | This message is to alert you that the CENIC network engineering team has scheduled [Regular] Maintenance: START: 0001 [PDT], THU 07/10 END: 0600 [PDT], THU 07/10 SCOPE: Level3 fiber maintenance between Escondido OpAmp and Sun City, CA. IMPACT: The below sites/services are impacted: Loss of redundancy: CALREN-HPR Backbone CALREN-DC Backbone UCI HPR UCLA HPR Los Nettos HPR UCSD HPR SDSC HPR UCR ISP UCSD ISP SDSC ISP Loss of connectivity: Teragrid-2 DC Backbone RIV-SDG HPR Backbone LAX-RIV COMMENTS: Level3 will be performing a maintenance on their long haul fiber between Escondido OpAmp and Sun City to permanently fix the damaged fibers caused by a recent fiber-cut. During the window, CENIC's dark fiber strands along this route will be down due to the maintenance. Please refer to the info above on the connections that will be affected.
